Parent's Weekend

We had a great Parent's Weekend last weekend going to the Gymnastics meet on Friday and enjoying lunch together on Saturday at the Red Barn.

Spring Pledge Class

We are so excited to welcome these 4 ladies into DG as our Spring 2014 Pledge Class!

Re-cap of the end of 2013 in DG

Cream Rose ball was a blast. All of our girls looked stunning in all-black with our president, Jacie, wearing Cream. The Fox Theater in Atlanta was beautiful and we had a lot of fun taking pictures in a photo booth. 

We had a Famous Couples Halloween Social and a Tacky Christmas Social towards the end of the semester. Both events were a lot of fun for all. 

The Laser Tag sisterhood event in Opelika was super fun as well.

As our fall philanthropy event this year, we held our very first Milk and Cookies. The holiday theme was perfect for the end of the semester and we had a great turnout.

Congratulations to Haley Anne on her engagement! We love candlelights!

And another big congratulations to our advisor Annie after her candlepass to announce that she's having another baby! We can't wait to find out if its a boy or a girl!

We welcomed in a new set of officers at the close of the semester. We are so excited to see what these ladies have planned to make our chapter even better and know they'll do a great job!

And finally many of our girls traveled to Pasadena to cheer on our Tigers in the National Championship! 

Long Awaited Update!

Please accept my sincere apology in the lack of blog posts this semester. It has been a crazy one for all of us. So here comes a huge update with all we've been up to this semester (it might be out of order, my apologies again).



Our new members had several swaps and still have a few more left. It's been a lot of fun to mingle with the new members from different fraternities.

 In order to get to know each other better before picking bigs and littles the future bigs and new members had several sailor sister events including several dinners and a trip out to Chewacla.

This year for big/little reveal we did something a little different. Instead of the giant gift boxes that we've done in the past, each big gave her little a prop as part of the last gift. The bigs and their families then dressed up as something that went with the prop. It turned out to be very fun and it was cool to see everyone's creativity with their themes.

The chapter had a What Used to Be Cool social. Everyone brought out their best 90s wear and had a great time. We even had a group that dressed up as the Spice Girls.














Our beautiful president Jacie Coressel was part of the Top 5 for Miss Homecoming! We had a great week "Joining Jacie" as we campained for her and raised awareness about the dangers of drunk driving and safe ways to get home in Auburn.

 

  

This past Thursday we initiated all of our lovely new members. We are so excited that they are all official Delta Gammas now. At Celebration afterwards the bigs and littles exchanged their anchors and paddles with a sit down dinner and brass ensemble playing for us.

 

We held Parent's Weekend this past weekend during Homecoming. Aubrey planned a great tailgate and BBQ dinner after the game.  

 

Our new members had a photoshoot on Sunday at Samford Lawn before their last New Member meeting.





We've had a great semester hanging out and bonding outside of DG activites and are super excited for our Cream Rose Ball on Friday!

Recruitment 2013

We were so excited to return to Auburn for recruitment and reveal our new chapter room! We had a lot of new furniture and decorations to complete a wonderful transformation that looks much more modern.

We had such a great recruitment and welcomed 62 beautiful new members on Bid Day! Still waiting on pictures from our photo company.
